Puteri Indonesia 2019

On March 8th Indonesia defined 3 of its 5 Grand Slam representatives in 2019, when the tradition Puteri Indonesia contest took place at a packed Jakarta Convention Center, in Jakarta. 39 young women competed for the three main titles: Miss Universe Indonesia, Miss International Indonesia and Miss Supranational Indonesia 2019.

Miss Universe Catriona Gray, Miss Supranational Valeria Vazquez, and Miss International Miriem Velazco, were present at the event. Jenny Kim, Miss Supranational 2017, was one of the judges.

At the conclusion of the beautiful televised show, the lucky young woman crowned Puteri Indonesia 2019 (Miss Universe Indonesia 2019) was Miss Jakarta SCR 1, Frederika Alexis Cull. She will compete in Miss Universe 2019, probably in the Philippines.

The title Puteri Indonesia Lingkungan 2019 (Miss International Indonesia) went to Miss North Sulawesi, Jolene Marie Cholock Rotinsulu. She will take part in Miss International 2019, in Japan.

Who will represent Indonesia in Miss Supranational 2019 is Miss West Java, Jesica Fitriana Martasari, elected Puteri Indonesia Pariwisata 2019 (Miss Supranational Indonesia). Jesica will try to become her country´s first ever Miss Supranational.

Surya Citra Televisi (SCTV) was the pageant´s bradcaster.

GB comment: Frederika Alexis Cull is quite beautiful and has that Brook Lee (Miss Universe 1997, from Hawaii, USA) vibe. She will fight for Indonesia´s first Miss Universe crown and has a fair chance to place in the Top 5, at least. Indonesia has strong candidates in MI and MS as well, especially in Supranational, as Jesica looks very regal! We would say that 2019 looks good for Indonesia!
