Miss World 2021: Côte d´Ivoire wins the Top Model challenge and advances to the Top 30

In the conclusion of the fashion show which happened at the T-Mobile Distrito, in San Juan, Miss World Côte d´Ivoire, Olivia Yacé, made history: not only she won the Top Model competition, but also she became the first woman from her country to advance to the next round of any Grand Slam competition|!

With 18 points, Côte d´Ivoire currently places as number 157 in the Grand Slam Ranking, a position which should improve substantially after December 16th.

Miss World Cameroon, Audrey Monkam, placed 2nd, while Miss World Puerto Rico, Aryam Díaz, placed 3rd.

The semi-finalists were France, Venezuela, Vietnam, Mexico, Kenya, Czech Republic, Poland, Nicaragua, Bahamas, and Dominican Republic.

This event gave each contestant the opportunity to showcase her best catwalk while wearing both national dresses and clothing made by local designers.

The judges were Crystal Rose Pierce, Stella Norasco, Gina Levis, Lady Wilnelia Forsyth and Joseph Da’Ponte.

Miss World 2021 will be crowned on December 16th, in San Juan, Puerto Rico.
