Santosh Upadhyaya, a 29-year-old medical doctor from Lalitpur, was named the first winner of the Mister Supra Star Search Competition. With this title, he also won the title of Mister Supranational Nepal and a trip to compete for the 5th edition of Mister Supranational later this year.

Responding to a question on how he is different from the other contestants during the final 3 round, Upadhyaya answered, "I am here for a purpose and I carry the values of being aspirational and inspirational that the organization is looking for. As I have been trying to inspire people since 2014 with my social work, I want to represent my country in the Mister Supranational Competition for the first time. And I want to wave our flag and deliver my message, which is about health education and climate change."

The Supra Star Search Competition was started for countries where there are currently no national organizations by Miss and Mister Supranational's Creative Director, Andre Sleigh. "We are delighted to have Santosh as the first winner and I know that he will take great pride in being the first representative of Nepal at Mister Supranational. In a few days, one very deserving lady from a country yet unknown will win her place in the 12th edition of Miss Supranational and I can't wait to see who that will be," Sleigh said.

37 candidates applied and competed for the opportunity to compete in Mister Supranational.
