Miss Supranational Netherlands, Swelia da Silva Antonio, took the sashing ceremony by storm! We see her as a major standout and favorite for the crown at this point.

The official Miss Supranational Sashing Ceremony took place this passing weekend in Nowy Sacz, Poland. Here is what we have to say about it:

  • Simple and functional, the ceremony gave fans a chance for a first look at the contestants “on the move”. Miss Supranational 2019/20, Anntonia Porsild, looked stunning. She put the sash on each delegate with much grace;

  • It was a nice surprise to see candidates from Guadeloupe and South Sudan joining the group. With Russia, who is about to arrive, there should be 57 women competing in Poland;

  • It is a very strong group and while some favorites confirmed their status, there were nice surprises as well. The standouts of the night were: Bolivia, Brazil (fantastic grooming!), Colombia, Czech Republic, Dominican Republic, England (what a great surprise!), India, Indonesia, Japan (we love her energy and unique look!), Malta (a young Sarah Jessica Parker), Namibia (Namibia is on its way to the top 5 again!), Netherlands (a perfect 10!), Panama (tall and impressive), Peru (elegant), Philippines, Poland (a natural beauty!), Puerto Rico (what a face!), Romania, South Africa (the whole package), Thailand, and Venezuela (what an impressive presentation!).

  • Who was the #1 standout of this activity? In our opinion, it was Miss Supranational Netherlands, Swelia da Silva Antonio. She absolutely nailed it!

  • Stay tuned for our second SUPER 11 list of favorites. What a difficult task it is to pick only 11!!
