Miss Grand International visits Portugal

Miss Grand International, Nguyễn Thúc Thùy Tiên, and MGI´s vice-president Teresa Chaivisut, have recently paid an important visit to Portugal, as Tien´s European tour continues. They were welcomed by the country´s national director, Isidro de Brito, and Miss Grand Portugal 2021, Laura Ferreira.

In Cascais they have visited and participated in a charity event at CERCICA, Cooperative for the Education and Rehabilitation of Disadapted Citizens of Cascais. They have also been welcomed at the Estoril Palace, Mosteiro de Batalha, among other important Portuguese landmarks during their 4-day journey.

Miss Grand International and Teresa have also visited the world-famous Fatima Sanctuary, where the Virgin Mary appeared to 3 siblings and later on to thousands of faithfuls, in 1917.

They have also attended a very special dinner in honor of Miss Grand International, at Hotel Villa Batalha.

This was the first time that a reigning Grand Slam queen paid an official visit to Portugal in many decades.

The new Miss Grand Portugal will be crowned in September, during the Miss Portuguesa pageant.
