Miss Supranational starts in Malopolska, Poland. Meet the favorites!

Two days in to the Miss Supranational experience, with most of the candidates already in the region of Malopolska, Poland, GB´s pageant observers have selected 5 pre-competition activities´ favorites: Brazil, Ecuador, India, Mexico, and Peru. Last year our pageant experts got the winner among their initial favorites for the crown: Lalela Mswane, from South Africa. Will they get it right again? Learn more about these 5 women. In alphabetical order, they are:

Brazil, Sacler Frantz

At the age of 32, Sancler makes history as the oldest woman to have ever competed in a Grand Slam pageant at this point, showing that beauty should not be restricted by age. A pageant veteran, Frantz was elected Miss World Brazil in 2013. In Bali, she was a huge favorite for the Miss World title, having reached the Top 5 and winning the Miss World Americas and Beach Fashion awards. During the past decade, Miss Supranational Brazil invested in her academic studies and will soon open her own beauty clinic.

Ecuador, Andrea Aguilera

Andrea competed in Miss Grand International 2021, in Thailand. She was also a huge favorite for the crown which she nearly captured: she was the 1st runner-up! Aguilera resembles Colombian superstar Sofia Vergara (a younger version) with her stunning looks and undeniable sex appeal. Andrea started studying medicine but is now an academic in International Business. She has also participated in a reality show in her country and decided to leave it after hearing some derogatory comments about her participation in Miss Grand International, standing for what she believes to be correct.

India, Pragnya Ayyagari

This bright and beautiful 21-year-old university student residing in Hyderabad has all it takes to become India´s third Miss Supranational. Pursuing a bachelor´s degree in fashion design, Ayyagari is also a model, something she dreamed of since she was a little girl and had to fight for, coming from a conservative family. A chess player, this bright young woman has won some inter-school tournaments! With excellent speaking skills, brains, and a gorgeous smile, expect Miss Supranational India to go very far in the competition!

Mexico, Vanessa López

Hailing from the state of Sonora, the 28-year-old actress and television presenter Vanessa López wants to become Mexico´s first Miss Supranational winner. Like Sancler, she competed in another national pageant 10 years ago, when she tried to represent Mexico in Miss Universe. Vanessa placed 2nd and went on to compete in Reina Hispanoamericana. In Bolivia, she also placed 2nd (virreina). Vanessa´s stunning looks and professionalism led her to a successful career in modeling. Eye on her!

Peru, Valeria Flores

Another pre-confinement favorite for the Miss Supranational title also comes from Latin America: she´s Valeria Flores, an actress who recently launched a singing career, interpreting her first single, “En mí”. Multitalented, beautiful, and with some experience on television, Flores is already a celebrity in her country and counts with the support of most Peruvian pageant fans. Abroad, she´s also scoring high, being considered one of the top favorites for the Supra crown at this point!

Completing the first voting by our pageant observers, as also part of GB´s traditional “Super 11”, are the representatives of Germany, Guatemala, the Philippines, South Africa, Thailand, and the United Kingdom.

GB pageant observers who voted in the pre-arrival round: Sally-Ann Fawcett (UK), George from Pageant Empress (Thailand), Jean-Marie Vandecasteele (Belgium), Antonio Rivadeneira (Ecuador), Julio Rodriguez (Venezuela), Nick C (Turkiye), Marjukka Nieminen (Finland), Ed Dominguez (Panama), Rafa Delfin from Critical Beauty (USA / Philippines).
