Miss Grand International will happen in Phuket, Thailand!
2020 MGI queens in Phuket´s Old Town. The island will host the finals of Miss Grand International 2021.
The mystery is over and, as promised by Mr. Nawat Itsaragrisil, the 9th edition of Miss Grand International will happen before the end of 2021. The venue for this Grand Slam event will be Phuket, Thailand, with the activities starting on November 17th, and ending on December 4th, with the final show. The winners and runner-ups of MGI 2020 visited Phuket earlier this year and enjoyed many of its tourist attractions, including its charming Old Town, thematic parks and beautiful beaches and islands. Abena Akuaba of the United States will crown her successor on December 4th. Exciting!
Miss International postponed for the 2nd consecutive year

Bint Sireethorn, Miss International 2019, will reign for another whole year (3 in total). “Though I have mixed feelings, I know that ICA is trying hard to hold the pageant as soon as possible, with everyone in safety”, the Thai international queen said on her social media. Organizers postponed the contest for another year because of the coronavirus pandemic and its current situation in Japan. “The next edition, dubbed as the 60th Miss International Beauty Pageant, is scheduled to be held in the fall of 2022”, MI said on their Instagram and Facebook accounts. Miss World press conference in Puerto Rico
In Puerto Rico, Julia Morley is surrounded by the love of three Misses World: Vanessa, Toni-Ann and Stephanie.
Julia Morley traveled once again to Puerto Rico for another important Press Conference on the 70th Miss World contest, which will take place on the island between November 19th and December 16th. Miss World Toni-Ann Sing, and former titleholders Vanessa Ponce de Leon (2018) and Stephanie Del Valle (2016), also joined the media event. Read all about it HERE.
Miss Ireland 2021
Medical scientist and inspiring activist Pamela Ashley Uba, the representative of Galway, was the winner of Miss Ireland 2021 contest last weekend. She will represent the emerald isle on the 70th edition of Miss World, in Puerto Rico. Pamela is 25 years old and the first black woman to win the Irish beauty title. It´s history in the making!
Miss Universe Paraguay 2021
Top model Nadia Ferreira, 22, from Villarica, was announced as Miss Universe Paraguay 2021, after being appointed by Promociones Gloria. Her announcement went instantly viral and Ferreira became a favorite among thousands of fans around the globe. She will compete in Miss Universe 2021, in Israel, in December. Eye on her!
Miss Mundo Dominicana 2021
24-year-old Emmy Pena was crowned Miss Mundo Dominicana (Miss World Dominican Republic) 2021 at the final held at the Barceló Grand Resort, on the 4th of September. 25 candidates were vying for the title at the event which was broadcast live on Telecentro 13 and Telemicro International. Emmy, from Duarte province, works as a professional model and has walked at various fashion shows. All candidates presented Beauty with a Purpose projects, with the Beauty with a Purpose Award going to Alejandra Vasquez Hirujo, the representative from San Pedro de Macorís. Alejandra is vice-president of Pinta Solidaridad, an organization that helps children in rural areas by providing medical and educational support. Well done!
Miss Grand Thailand 2021
The Thai representative in Miss Grand International, to be held in Phuket, Thailand, is Indy Johns, Miss Grand Thailand 2020 1st runner-up. Johns will be the host delegate in the upcoming Miss Grand International contest. The Miss Grand Thailand competition, one of the best produced national pageants in the world, will be back in 2022.
The UK´s new Grand queens!

The United Kingdom has four new “Grand queens”, all set to travel to Phuket, Thailand, to compete in the 9th edition of Miss Grand International. They are Shannon McCullag, Miss Grand Northern Ireland, Katie Finlay, Miss Grand Scotland, Heather Hopkins, Miss Grand Wales, and Jessica Ford, Miss Grand England. 15 young women competed for the four coveted titles.
Miss Northern Ireland 2021
A Lisburn primary school teacher will compete at the 70th Miss World pageant, in San Juan, Puerto Rico, after being crowned Miss Northern Ireland 2021. Anna Leitch was one of 23 women who competed for the title at the Miss NI Gala Final 2021, at the Europa Hotel on Monday night. She was also named Miss Talent after playing the piano during the competition. The 27-year-old said she was “absolutely over the moon” with her achievement. (Belfast Telegraph).
Miss Grand Honduras 2021
Lovely Celia Monterosa was crowned Miss Grand Honduras 2021. She will represent her country in the 9th edition of MGI, in Phuket, Thailand, on December 4th.
Miss International Brazil 2022
Her name is Isabella Oliveira, she hails from the city of Campos dos Goytacazes, State of Rio de Janeiro, and has been appointed as the new Miss International Brazil, who will represent her country in Miss International 2022 (60th edition). Oliveira placed 2nd in Miss International Brazil 2019. Congratulations to the new queen!
Miss Portuguesa 2021 is underway
The Miss Portuguesa tour and competition is underway in several Portuguese localities, including the Euroindy Kartódromo, where the candidates had lots of fun when competing in the sports competition. Miss Portuguesa 2021, who will represent Portugal in Miss World 2021, in Puerto Rico, will be crowned on September 11th, during the Gala Event held at the traditional Estoril Cassino. Andrea Meza enjoys Hawaii
One of the highlights of Miss Universe´s visit to Hawaii was getting to know about Polynesian traditions, food, and dances, at the Polynesian Cultural Center, in Honolulu. She was accompanied by Miss Universe 1997, Hawaii´s own Brook Lee. Meza has also visited some of Hawaii´s most beautiful beaches and enjoyed some relaxation time at the Ritz Carlton Hawaii pool. Reinado Nacional de Belleza 2021 to elect the next Spaniard kings of beauty
The RNB 2021 contest will soon start in Periana, Malaga, where Spain´s representatives for future editions of Mister Supranational, Mister International, and Caballero Universal, will be elected. 52 candidates will compete for the titles and you can access daily photos and updates on @rnbespana. Varo Vargas, Mister Supranational 2021, and Anntonia Porsild, Miss Supranational 2019/20, will be VIP guests at the final event, which will happen on September 18th.
