Mister Supranational 2022: who will win tonight?
Tonight the city of Nowy Sacz, Malopolska, Poland, will host the televised finals of Mister Supranational 2022. Thirty-four young men from four continents battle for the title which currently belongs to Peru´s Varo Vargas. It was no easy task, but we´ve managed to choose 11 favorites, one of which should be the next Mister Supranational. They are:
ARGENTINA - Angel Olaya
Born in Colombia, Angel (26) has adopted Argentina as his new home country. His social work, helping transgender women, is admirable. The winner of the Supra Search contest in 2022, Angel has been a hot favorite among internet fans since the beginning, and he has not disappointed them: his preliminary presentation was flawless!
BRAZIL - Guilherme Werner
With the face of a Hollywood star, this dentist who dreams of becoming an actor has everything to conquer the first Mister Supranational title for Brazil. Guilherme (27) has a passion for animals ever since he was a child and has helped dozens of them throughout his life. He has also delivered a very solid performance at the preliminary competition and is up for the challenge.
CUBA - Luis Daniel Gálvez
Actually born and raised in Cuba until he was a teenager, Luis Daniel (27) has survived an earthquake in Mexico and is currently living in the USA, where he works and helps children with autism. Mister Cuba is among the kindest and most charismatic delegates in this year´s pageant. We expect him to do well.
FRANCE - Pierre Bondon
The very charming Mister France, Pierre Bondon (30), has already secured a spot in the Top 20 after winning the Sports´ Challenge event. A native of Toulouse, the French representative has a Master degree in European Banking and Finance. He´s done everything right since the first day of the competition and clearly stands out in this group.
INDONESIA - Matthew Gilbert Wibowo
Charming Matthew (22) is, without a doubt, the strongest candidate Indonesia has sent to Mister International up to now. This lifestyle and health influencer who´s also a model and an actor, has the looks and the brains to advance and go far in the competition.
ITALY - Giuseppe Santagata
Talk about a charismatic contestant! Giuseppe hails from Alife, a small town located close to Naples, but is currently living in Ireland. Openly gay, his boyfriend is also his national director! With his honest smile and great preparation, Mister Italy has gained many fans and seems to be ready to take the Supra stage by storm!
MEXICO - Moises Peñaloza
One of the top favorites this year is Mexico´s Moises Peñaloza (30). This electronic engineer born in Mexico City is a great dancer in a very versatile artist and model. His preliminary presentation deserved a perfect 10 and we won´t be surprised in Mexico wins its second Mister Supranational title tonight.
NEPAL - Sanish Shrestha
Menstrual hygiene and mental health advocate, Sanish (21) is also a magnificent singer! He is the first winner of the national pageant organized by the also bright and talented Dr. Santos Upadhyaya, Mister Supranational Nepal, and 3rd runner-up in Mister Supranational 2021. Though he is among the youngest contestants in this batch, we believe Mister Nepal can pull a great result tonight.
PUERTO RICO - Heriberto Rivera
For many people, the face and the eyes of the competition, Heriberto (23) is a model and basketball player who also has a degree in business administration. His preliminary performance was spot on, so we expect Puerto Rico to finally get to the Top 10 for the first time in this competition (it has placed in the Top 20 on several occasions). We honestly believe that Mister PR has the potential to fight for the title.
SPAIN - Manuel Ndele
On Friday night Lalela Mswane became the first black woman to be crowned Miss Supranational. Manuel Ndele (25), the son of immigrants from DR Congo, could be on his way to becoming the first black man to accomplish the same (Brazil in 2019, and Togo in 2021, were very close to achieving it, both finishing as 1st runner-ups). Handsome and with a great personality, Manuel works to raise awareness of the importance of breaking down stereotypes.
VIETNAM - Bùi Xuân Đạt
Another hot favorite to take it all tonight, Vietnam´s Đạt (26) has been bold in evening wear preliminary presentation, with a very fashion-oriented attitude! He has a beautiful face, a great smile, and a lovely personality, trying to communicate with all, though he does not master the English language. He´s very strong!

Belgium, Yentl van Hoorbeke, in our opinion the best influencer and one of the coolest candidates this year; Czech Republic, Jiří Perout, one of the best good-looking candidates, with a charming personality; El Salvador, Adrián Itzam Monge, who´s talented and has tremendous stage presence; Greece, Leonidas Amfilochios, a favorite of many, he certainly got the look, but still must show that really wants this; Haiti, Mendossa Désir, who has delivered a very solid preliminary performance; Korea, Han Jung-wan, whose very elegant and full of style, and barely missed making it to our Super 11 list; Malta, Ron Bonsfiled, who we expect to see in the Top 20; Netherlands, Fransel Meyers, with his great personality and visible dedication; Panama, Elvis Alexis Hidalgo, with his unique look, dedication and great heart; Peru, Nicola Roberto, a front-runner in the beginning who might not have scored high in swimwear. His placement will depend on what the judges are looking for, after all, he has the face and the charm; the Philippines, RaÉd Fernandez Al-Zghayér, whose inspirational life story and incredible personality, should be noticed; Poland, Jakub Kowalewski, has a unique style and will have the local crowd behind him; Thailand, Teenarupakorn Muangmai, who´s a solid performer, USA, Keith Williams, who has the coolest personality and style; and Venezuela, Anthony Gallardo, who took the challenge to represent his country at the last minute (the actual winner had visa issues) and has been doing quite a good job.
The men who we haven´t mentioned, are also great competitors who have the qualities to pull a surprise. We wish them all the best of luck tonight!!
